Pentagon Flag - this flag was unfurled at the Pentagon on the morning after the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001. The banner draped the damaged west wall of the Pentagon for nearly a month. In a time of crisis, it inspired many as a symbol of national unity and resilience.
